What is the headache?

Headache is the symptom of pain anywhere in the head or neck area. It occurs in migraines (fast, or throbbing pain), stress type headache, and cluster. Often can affect relationships and employment. The risk of depression has also increased in people with severe.

Serious or not, whether there may be headache due to the many conditions. There are several different classification systems. The International Headship Society is the most well-recognized. The causes of  include dehydration, fatigue, loss of sleep, stress, effects of medicines, effects of recreational drugs, viral infection, vigorous noise, common cold, head injury, very cold food or rapid injection of beverages, and teeth Sinus.

Although it may feel like this, but headache is not really pain in your head. The brain tells you that other parts of your body are hurt, but it can not feel the pain.

Most headaches are in veins, blood vessels, and muscles that cover the head and neck of a person. Occasionally spills into muscles or blood vessels, tightens, or stimulates the surrounding nerves or puts pressure on them. These nerves send a crowd of pain messages to the brain, and it brings.


There are over 200 types of headaches. Some are harmless and some lives are dangerous. The details of the findings and neurological examination determine whether additional testing is required and which treatment is best.

Many things can lead to:

1. Stress

2. Dehydration

3. watching computer or TV

4. Strong Music

5. Smoking

6. Alcohol

7. Caffeine (People who drink lots of caffeinated drinks can get Caffeine-8. Back Headache)

8. Leaving food

For some adolescents, hormonal changes can also cause, For example, some girls get  during their menstrual cycle or just before their regular period.

This can occur on both sides of the head, or in some parts of the head in only one place.

The International Headship Society (IHS) classifies headache as primary, when they are not due to any other condition, or secondary, when there is a later underlying cause.

Treatment and Medication?

1. Regular practice of yoga:

In which the above mentioned yogasan and pranayama (Nadi purification, pranayama and bhramari pranayama) are very effective, followed by 20 minutes meditation.

2. Drink more water:

Drink plenty of water, there may be  due to lack of water in the body. Even after practicing yoga and meditation, sometimes. The reason for this is that meditation helps to remove toxins from the body.

After this, you will have to re-hydrate your body (again drink water – re hydrate) to clean the physical system. Water, Disease Prevention is an easy treatment to get relief from.

3. Support of Ayurveda:

Ayurvedic herbs which help in removing headache, such as paan, cloves, ginger and henna etc.

4. List a healthy diet that is according to your taste. This is the only way, that you can continue it for a long time.

Several steps can be taken to reduce the risk of and if pain occurs, to reduce the pain:

1. Apply a heating pack or ice pack to your head or neck, but avoid extreme temperatures.

2. Avoid stress, where possible, and develop healthy rivals’ strategies for indispensable stress.

3. Eat regular meals to maintain stable blood sugar.

Exercising regularly and getting adequate rest and regular sleep contributes to overall health and stress reduction.

The most common way to treat is relief and pain relief medication:

Generic pain relief is available on drug counter (OTC), or doctor can prescribe preventive drugs such as tricyclic antidepressants, serotonin receptor agonists, anti-mirigitic drugs and beta-blockers.

It is important to follow the doctor’s advice because using pain relief medicines can cause headache. Treatment of rebound headache involves reducing or preventing pain relief medication. In extreme cases, it may be necessary to stay in a small hospital to manage the return safely and effectively.
